My Husband Made Me Do Unimaginable Things for His Friends

It started slowly, with little favors that seemed harmless at first. Sarah trusted her husband, Tom, wholeheartedly. He was her best friend, her partner, the man who she believed would protect her from the world’s cruelties. But over time, things began to change.

At first, Tom would have his friends over for dinner. He’d ask Sarah to be the perfect host—pouring drinks, making sure everyone was comfortable. She did so willingly, enjoying the company and believing she was helping him build meaningful connections. But soon, the requests began to take a different turn. He started to ask her to entertain his friends more personally—to flirt a little, to make them feel special.

Sarah felt uneasy, but Tom always had a way of making it seem okay. “It’s nothing serious,” he would say, his words soft but insistent. “Just make them happy. It’s what good wives do. They help their husbands.” His reassurances masked the darkness beneath, and she tried to ignore her growing discomfort.

One evening, Tom pushed things further than ever before. He asked her to stay alone with one of his friends after he had left the room. Sarah was taken aback, feeling a knot tighten in her stomach, but she didn’t want to disappoint him. She stayed, trying to remain polite, but Tom’s friend crossed lines she never expected. Her protests were weak—she felt powerless, trapped by the fear of losing everything she had built with Tom. She couldn’t recognize herself anymore.

The situation spiraled from there. Each time, Tom would push her a little further, testing her boundaries until they shattered completely. Sarah felt hollow, used, and betrayed by the one person she thought she could trust the most. She was no longer herself—her identity had become wrapped in these “favors” she did for Tom and his friends, a cycle of exploitation masked as loyalty.

It took Sarah months to realize that she wasn’t the one at fault—that Tom’s manipulation had turned her into someone she never wanted to be. She found the courage to leave him, to reclaim her sense of self and rebuild her shattered confidence. She started over, far from the life she had with Tom, knowing that her worth was not defined by what she was made to do but by the strength she found to escape it.
